Development Project of Northern Industrial Park

The main goal of the project is to create an industrial area that is suitable for attracting investors. The direct goal of the project is to develop the industrial infrastructure in order to promote job creation, which will improve the production conditions of economic operators as well. On the other hand, the quality of the operating environment is also improved.
The project can make an effective contribution to reducing unemployment in the region, thus helping to reduce regional disparities in society and the economy.
Project elements implemented within the project:
- The development area does not have public utilities, therefore the investment is aimed to build the basic infrastructure (construction of roads, construction of roundabouts, water tower, drainage of drinking water, sewage disposal, construction of public lighting, gas and electricity connection).
- In the area of the Zalaegerszeg Science and Technology Park have established 15 public industrial plots of 2000-5000-8000 m2. The total size of the area is 7 ha. (gas, electricity, water supply, sewage and stormwater drainage, public lighting).
Within the framework of the project, the east-west connection road has already been completed, and the stormwater canal in the direction of the Ságodi stream has been built as well. Within the area of the road 76 and the area of the Zalaegerszeg Science and Technology Park has been built 15 industrial plots with 2000 – 5000 – 8000 m2 (7 ha in total), which are suitable for investors. The construction of a nearly 0.5 km long internal road was also a part of the project. The construction of the north-south road, the necessary public utilities and the roundabout at the northern have also been completed, and the technical handover has been completed.

The main goal of the project is to create road connections to the industrial park. The identification number is TOP-6.1.1-15-ZL1-2016-00001. The development ensures access to the industrial park and the connection to the road network.
Elements of development:
1. Conversion of a vehicle classification node into a roundabout
2. Reconstruction of the Kispáli connection in Zalaegerszeg
3. Renovation of Zalaegerszeg Kispál access road
4. construction of a bicycle path
Within the framework of the project, the construction works of the renovation of Kispáli út have been completed, the technical handover has been completed as well. The public procurement procedure of the roundabout and the cycle path has been completed and construction has started.
