  • Reconstruction of the area in front of the Mayor’s Office and Dísz square

The aim of the project is to make the living environment more livable as a result of the renewal of the physical environment. Within this framework, the implementation covered the following elements: renovation of rental housing, development of the green areas, renovation of public institutions.

In order to achieve the goals of the project, the municipality has implemented the following improvements:

  • Block interior rehabilitation
  • Reconstruction of a retired home
  • The Social Club has been renewed
  • Implementation of a number of additional “soft” activities (community, training, public safety programs)

  • The Dísz square was renovated during this period
  • Northern Road II. phasis (it relieves the city center from heavy traffic)
  • Renovation of the market hall
  • October 6 Square – Batthyány street – Budai Nagy Antal street: construction of a junction with traffic lights
  • Reconstruction of the northern section of Kölcsey Ferenc Street, with the creation of sidewalk connections and landscaping
  • The new road connections of the LÉSZ Kft. were established
  • „Flower yard” development

Within the framework of the portal program carried out a complex facade reconstruction on the downtown properties at Kazinczy square, Széchenyi square, Kossuth street and Eötvös alley.
