Zalaegerszeg Urban Development Ltd. was founded in 1999. Nowadays, through the buyout of its co-owners, the sole owner of the company has become the Municipality of Zalaegerszeg.

The Zalaegerszeg Urban Development Ltd. has a wide range of activities. We also coordinate the sale and lease of industrial properties which are owned by the Municipality of Zalaegerszeg. The Zalaegerszeg Urban Development Ltd. offers offices, workshops, industrial plots for sale and rent. Our main activities include project management tasks that belong to the projects that are awarded by the Municipality of Zalaegerszeg. We also operate the Incubator House, which was developed in 3 stages. As the next milestone in the development of our company, we expanded our organization with an economic development division (ZEDD) in March 2020, thus supporting the long-term development of the City of Zalaegerszeg.

We pay special attention to intensive and helpful collaborations with local companies. We are actively involved in investor negotiations and we also play a significant role in the implementation of investor needs.

The primary task of the company is to develop complex plans in cooperation with the partners of the local government, in order to mobilize the city’s real estate market and to continuously and qualitatively renew the built environment. Taking into account aesthetic, economic and urban structure aspects, we carry out our activities based on the action areas defined by the Municipality of Zalaegerszeg.
