The Local farmers’ market of agricultural and handcraft products – Göcsej knowledge center” project will be implemented under two financing schemes. One part, the TOP-6.1.3-15-ZL1-2016-00001 project, creates the infrastructural background for local producers, the other part of the project, the Göcsej Knowledge Center (TOP-6.1.4-16-ZL1-2017-00003), which is developing the product and tourism offer of the market based on the knowledge of the local farmers.
The local bakery and bistro will also offer dishes that are made from local products and as the ingredients of gastronomic courses will also serve the products from local farmers. Traditional techniques (jam making, drying, etc.) are presented by producers whose products can be purchased at the producer’s shop.
The economic development effect of the project is also twofold: on the one hand, it provides a market for local producers and artisans, on the other hand, the project can increase the length of stay of tourists.
